Google Glass Project

OK, so, I've been researching and watching youtube videos on DIY Google Glass and DIY Hololens the past week, on the assumption of 'I could build this myself' with no technical or electrical background. And without the hefty price tag.

And it turns out that after a week, I've become quite knowledgeable on the subject.

It’s going to take a few prototypes to get V1 of My Eye OS off the ground because I’m running blind and I have no idea what I’m doing.

My Eye OS, I thought of, on the spot and fits the project well. Myeyeos.tk I registered earlier tonight, to document the how and the why of the subject.

I ordered the main board, the Bluetooth mod and the 0.66 OLED screen yesterday and they should all arrive tomorrow morning.

On the youtube videos and the tutorials I watched and read, they advised to go for the smallest screen possible which would be the 0.5 OLED screen. One tutorial had a 0.96 screen and said it was too big and that google glass used a 0.5 screen. I looked everywhere for the 0.5 screen, with no avail. So I chose the next sizeup, the 0.66. As it's my first time at building an Augmented Reality unit,  I could always order the 0.5 screen at a later date with future revisions.

I will also get the sim card module, the wifi module, and the speaker and microphone module to make a complete unit, as to make and receive calls, text message, and access the internet.
